New version is now available. This release fixes few very important bugs and also introduces new database installation and upgrade system. Some of the bugs discovered in the last two weeks were related to the missing columns from some of the tables. The new installation class will solve all this. Default debug file location is changed to fix some more restriced server settings. Saving rating review from post edit page is fixed, along with small problem caused by invalid voting rules.

Few more debug calls are added into the code, blog rating widget and voters log panels are improved, more translated strings are added and few more functions for manual rendering and theme integration. Unfortunately I had no time to work on the user guide, so again, that will wait for the next version.

Just a small update with some WP 2.7 visual problems fixed, added translation support for the wizard and few more changes. Plugin is now also listed on Ohloh.net, and you can show your support there if you are member of Ohloh.

This version brings some bugs fixed, updated translation POT file and new advanced pager for front page or archive. New pager is designed for blogs with large number of posts. Translation file is not yet completed, but contains over 95% of all string used by the adminstration panel and blog frontend.

List of all fixes and changes is in changelog file. As for the future versions, there will be an announcement by the end of the week. Since I don’t have enough time to work on new Starscape II as planned before, I will announce new development plans for Starscape 2 and Starscape 3.

RC release had few bugs so here is the new version. Problem with PHP4 and scandir() function is solved. Problem with widget post title rendering, first comment disabled rating and rendering of post review stars are fixed. I have removed user guide from this release and you can download it from my blog so I can keed the plugin package smaller. Since I will be working on some new features that require some more jQuery, I have added jQuery.ui.datepicker code along with translations for all currently available languages in the plugin.

If more critical bugs are discovered, you can expect more such releases. Also, if you want you can use SVN from Google Code page to get latest version of development code to test it if you like.

The first development cycle is almost over. This release candidate introduce few new features, and announces some more changes that will be available in 1.0.0 stable release. At this point I had no time to update documentation, so if you are confused by some of the (new) options, please visit a forum and ask whatever you need to know.
