My first release in the new year, and it’s a new version of Starscape theme. This is mainly a bug fixing release. I cleaned up some more CSS, improved CSS styles used for threaded comments available in WordPress 2.7. There are also few improvements in comments form, new page template with no sidebars and few more things.

Theme is available at WordPress.org themes extend direcotory, but version uploaded there has no Google Analytics module because of the WordPress.org rules. If you use that module, download theme from this blog.

New version is now available. This release fixes few very important bugs and also introduces new database installation and upgrade system. Some of the bugs discovered in the last two weeks were related to the missing columns from some of the tables. The new installation class will solve all this. Default debug file location is changed to fix some more restriced server settings. Saving rating review from post edit page is fixed, along with small problem caused by invalid voting rules.

Few more debug calls are added into the code, blog rating widget and voters log panels are improved, more translated strings are added and few more functions for manual rendering and theme integration. Unfortunately I had no time to work on the user guide, so again, that will wait for the next version.

Here is new version of the rating plugin. Once again, there are many new features and changes included. Few days ago WordPress 2.7 is finally released and GD Star Rating is fully compatible, but there are few visual incompatibilities. Some of them are fixed with this version, and the rest will be fixed with one of the next releases.

In the last week only few minor problems are reported, and at this point plugin is very stable. Few administration panels related bugs are fixed. There was one reported case with problems with checking votes in the database, and I have added debug dumps code for that. So if you have such a problem, activate debug feature and send me the debug file.

Just another regular maintenance release due to new WordPress. Also, some small bugs fixed and added support for QTranslate plugin. Plugin is now also listed on Ohloh.net, and you can show your support there if you are member of Ohloh.
